We can't think of a better way of life than devoting our days to ensuring that everyone who spends time with us comes to love Dahab, Egypt and the Red Sea with the same passion as we do.
Because of our commitment to diving, and our love of the Red Sea and its fascinating inhabitants, we are dedicated to the conservation and preservation of the many delights it has long been our privilege to enjoy. We are determined to ensure that the coral reefs that fascinate us today remain intact to enthrall generations of divers to come.

Khaled
is the kingpin of Blue Realm. Together with his Dutch wife, Sita, he heads a friendly team of multi-lingual diving professionals, committed to giving you the holiday of a lifetime. He is a PADI Staff Instructor who has been diving the Red Sea for many years, teaching and guiding divers from all over the world. His knowledge and experience of all the coastal and deep water sites in the region would be extremely difficult to beat.
Sita
manages, despite the demands of her two daughters, Monna and Nadine, to work behind the scenes on administration work. She somehow helps to ensure that things run smoothly in the background, so that the rest of us can get on with the stressful, but unavoidable, business of diving…
Natasha
was a regular diver with Blue Realm for 4 years before deciding to leave the fast pace of an executive job in the UK, in preference for a more relaxed way of life in Dahab. The combination of her diving experience with Blue Realm and her qualification as a Divemaster means that she is well placed to help Sita and Khaled by working part-time on marketing and reservations. The rest of the day you will either find her with a tank on her back joining you diving, or with her head buried in study books working towards an accountancy qualification.
Hany
our friendly, always smiling, counter manager is usually the first to greet new customers to the dive centre and is on hand to make sure that advice and information is readily available for diving courses, daily diving and snorkelling programmes. In addition, he ensures that guides, instructors and drivers are booked to take you diving, making sure that everyone is in the right place at the right time so that there is no time lost in getting you into the water. He sorts out much of the paperwork for diving and training and helps with the sizing and fitting of equipment when required.
Giovanna
is Blue Realm’s Italian instructor. She first came to Dahab when taking a holiday in between jobs in 2009 and fell in love with the town. She decided to move to Dahab only a few months later and quickly progressed through her Rescue course on to do the IDC later that year. You won’t find her out of the water now, not even on her days off! Her enthusiasm for diving is infectious and her patience when dealing with students is second to none. When not diving her passions are of course food and wine, as you would expect from any Italian!
Hagage
our compressor man, spends most of his time at Blue Beach Dive Club, making sure that tanks are filled and ready for you to go diving. When he’s not in the compressor room you’ll find him assisting with the endless cycle of equipment maintenance and cleaning to keep everything in top condition for diving. He also helps to navigate the dive trolley, which sometimes has a mind of its own, to some of the more local dive sites. He is a PADI Open Water Diver, currently working towards his Advanced qualification.
Naturally, we pride ourselves that we employ only good instructors for all our Dahab diving, and use only the best dive boats, with the most experienced crews and dive guides, for our day trips and liveaboards. In this way, we can ensure that you always feel safe in the hands of friendly, helpful people, no matter where your journey takes you.
In addition, we have the support of all the staff and facilities of Blue Beach Hotel. As well as providing our main accommodation in Dahab, they boast the most popular bar in town, their new restaurant, a swimming pool and an impressive array of land-based activities for both divers and non-divers, including horse riding, trips to places of natural and historical interest, excursions into the desert with Bedouin guides, yoga, Arabic lessons and massage facilities.
