ADVANCED
As much an exciting experience programme as a formal training course, this is designed to take the new diver from the elementary stage to a level of confidence and competence that could otherwise take many dives to reach. Surprisingly, this is all achieved in only five well-chosen dives, under the instruction and watchful eyes of our professional instructors, who provide expert knowledge in safe, relaxed conditions. How better to promote greater confidence and ability?
The course is open to divers aged 15 years and over (Junior Advanced Open Water, 12 years), who already have the PADI Open Water certificate.
The A/O/W certification follows completion of five adventure dives, which must include the Deep Dive and Navigation Dive. Three others must be chosen from the following:
- Drift Dive
- Multilevel Dive
- Naturalist Dive
- Search and Recovery Dive
- Night Dive (highly recommended!)
- Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive (great for developing general diving ability)
- Wreck Dive (available only on day boat trips from Sharm El Sheikh to Thistlegorm or Dunraven)
After completing your five dives (generally over 2 days), you will be amazed at how much more comfortable and capable you are in the water, how much more relaxed. Because of this, and your better understanding of the environment, and your new skills, you will feel much more at ease and able to enjoy your diving.
