Our Philosophy

The above extract, from a piece written a few of years ago by one of our team, sums up the philosophy behind Blue Realm's policies and activities. We are dedicated to sharing with you that love of the sea and diving that we all feel, and that makes every single dive we do an exciting new adventure.
Our Standards
Backing up that ideal is our constant commitment to quality and security. We maintain this in three ways: by employing only the best PADI instructors and guides, who follow the strictest safety codes, by ensuring that our equipment is kept in first class condition for optimum safety, and by supplying air of the highest quality, as proven by our regular, faultless TUV certification. In addition, we subscribe to the Divers Alert Network (DAN), the world’s leading diver safety network and research organisation, who, in turn, are supported locally by Dahab Hyperbaric Medical Centre and Search & Rescue.
Our Holidays
With all of this in mind, our view of your diving holiday assumes a rather unconventional perspective. We are well aware that the perfect diving holiday is an individual dream, existing only in the mind. It has as many faces as there are divers in the world. For that reason, we try to deviate from the idea of standard package holidays, and undertake, instead, to create a holiday to match your dreams.
Take a week diving in Dahab: do three days’ shore diving plus a camel safari to dive Gabr El Bint, then add a day aboard a boat to visit Ras Mohammed National Park or the famous SS Thistlegorm, for that little extra excitement. We can arrange that for you. What about a real adventure week, getting the adrenaline flowing on a luxury liveaboard, south of Marsa Alam, then chilling out on the beach for a few days of sun watching, with an overnight trip into the desert with Bedouin guides, just to prevent you getting too lazy? We will fix that, too. Of course, if your ideal is simply a straightforward week's liveaboard, or a fortnight with the family, snorkelling and diving in Dahab or Sharm El Sheikh, we will make sure that's what you get.
We are not just about diving, of course. Many groups that come to us include non-divers, and even active divers like to take time out. For that reason, we offer a wide range of other activities, both on the water and ashore. Together with our colleagues in Blue Beach Hotel, we can organise a programme of activities that would be pretty well impossible to fit into one week.
Whatever their choice of holiday, we strongly recommend that all visitors consult our useful Checklist and Practical Information before travelling. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
